The microsite is designed for prospective students exploring university options, families seeking clear event information, and educators aiming to highlight UCA’s creative strengths. It also appeals to design-focused users who value intuitive interfaces and streamlined journeys. The visual direction follows playful, user-centric principles — emphasizing clarity, vibrant aesthetics, and simplified navigation to reflect UCA’s dynamic identity.
The UCA Microsite project began as an opportunity to rethink how prospective students experience Open Day online. What stood out to me wasn’t the complexity of the build, but the challenge of making essential information feel simple, clear, and inviting. I focused on creating a structure that was easy to navigate, visually engaging, and true to UCA’s vibrant identity. After rounds of user testing and thoughtful iteration, only minor tweaks were needed before deadline. It was rewarding to see how a design rooted in empathy and clarity could transform something as routine as event exploration into a smoother, more inspiring journey.
